AIA South Dakota’s Liz Stanton, AIA, and Keith Thompson, AIA, appeared on KELOLAND Living on Thursday to chat with Ashley Thompson and Mitchell Olson about the upcoming ArchWeek for Kids event at the Washington Pavilion.
ArchWeek for Kids, which is free and open to the public, is set for Saturday, April 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Volunteers from AIA SD and our partners at the NAWIC Greater Sioux Falls Chapter #237 will be on site to share their experience as kids of all ages try out their skills at hands-on activity tables.
Stick around for Ask an Architect at 1 p.m. to learn how buildings begin with an idea and are designed to stand up to real-world demands. Or learn more about what it takes to become an architect.
AIA SD also will use the event to give guests a sneak peek at the first few pages of its upcoming coloring book. The project features selected buildings and artistic structures across our state.
