Tips for Architects Working At Home During COVID-19

As a follow-up to the preceding post, the attached article addresses some general strategies for continuing to maintain an architectural/design workflow while working from home.  Chief among the concerns of those faced with this reality, is the difficulty of overcoming the mental partition that exists between the office and home.  In response, the article emphasizes the importance of maintaining a routine, limiting your, “news diet,” and curating a work-space which is conducive to concentration.  Most notable however, is the detailed list of available software and programs which can mediate the disconnect associated with working from a home-office.  Regardless of the means by which someone addresses these challenges, the current circumstances present an opportunity to expand one’s skill set through a variety of online courses, tutorials, and lectures, of which several are mentioned.
