Describe the culture of your firm/organization.
We want our employees to wake up every morning happy to come to work. Therefore, we invest our time and resources to create a space where staff can interact and collaborate in a productive way. Our culture is inclusive and positive with ample opportunity to grow and develop your technical and interpersonal skills. We have various committees that staff can get involved in that plan wellness initiatives so that we can all lead a healthy lifestyle, social events to get to know one another and our families outside of the office, and volunteering opportunities to give back.
From its inception, Architecture Incorporated has placed an emphasis on giving back to the communities in which we live and work. This is done through sponsorships, charitable donations, volunteering, and serving on boards in organizations. We encourage our staff to get involved in the communities and organizations that they care about.
Describe the history of your firm/organization.
The firm originated in Sioux Falls in 1976. We opened an office in Rapid City in 2010, which is now comprised of three architects. The Sioux Falls office was originally located on the north side of downtown, but moved to its current location in 2000. To celebrate our 40th anniversary in 2016, we completed a renovation of the studio space to accommodate our growing team. This allowed us to seamlessly integrate the historic rotunda with a more modern and flexible studio.
What makes your firm/organization unique?
Above all else, Architecture Incorporated delivers creative solutions and proven service to our clients. We are intentionally good stewards of our resources so that we can function at an optimal level and therefore provide our clients with the superior service they have come to know and expect. We place quality at the forefront of all aspects of the design and building process.
