South Dakota is home to incredibly talented architects and designers, doing exceptional work for clients and communities. We build on a tradition of professionals who shaped our state’s collective design identity. Who knows how many future dreamers and doers might be inspired by a chance to “visit” some of those places without leaving home?

AIA South Dakota plans to create and print a coloring book of statewide must-see architecture. We need your help to make this educational-outreach vision a reality. Do you know of a building or other structure in SD that you’d like to see included?

AIA SD is looking for architects and firms willing to share exterior photos for consideration. Submitters must own the copyright to any images they include or be able to secure releases to use the images. AIA SD members will translate selected images to line drawings for this effort. The project might be one you’ve had a hand in, or one you’ve admired—whether it appears in lists such as USA Today’s 25 Must-See Buildings or it’s something a bit more out of the way. Scenic routes often are the best ones, after all!

Complete the form below to submit your project ideas by 5 p.m. Central on Tuesday, Dec. 30. One project per form, please. Respondents are welcome to complete multiple forms.
